Thank you all for the tremendous support!
We’ve started sending out the invitations for the limited beta from today.
In order to streamline the feedback, the invitations will be increasing in frequency over the coming days and many of you will be signing in very soon.
You can get a better understanding of our roll out process here.
Please bear with us during this launch phase, as it is not possible to cater to individual account activation requests due to the large number of registrations.
Thank you so much for your patience.

Cool. Can’t wait to get a chance to play with it.
October 31, 2006 at 3:36 pm
I assume it is windows based, but can be used on Macs using bootcamp. I definitely would be willing to provide feedback as a beta tester on this product using my Mac.
October 31, 2006 at 3:41 pm
Actually, from what I’ve seen at the FAQ, Scrybe is compatible with Mac. All you need to have is a browser with a “work offline” mode like Firefox or Safari.

I cannot wait to get my hands on the Invitation. This might be the answer to all the calendar apps out there. Good luck guys and great job. I am happy to see that you guys are getting well deserved attention and press. Looking forward to that invite.

I would agree with Charles … based on what I’ve seen I would be surprised if you had to run bootcamp on a Mac to make it work.

November 1, 2006 at 11:50 am
heh - You guys are simply amazing - You took Web 2.0 at a literal sense and its great! You made something that is pratically a replacement for Office / Calendar … You will be acquired by Goog soon if you want to. The first to acquire you wins the Online Office suite` battle.
This tech is simply amazing - RB

I haven’t seen any mention of how Scrybe will make money when it comes out of beta. Subscriptions? Ads?
As I just posted, I currently intend to switch to Scrybe, but pricing is one of the things that might make me change my mind.

“I can’t wait for my invite!” ²
I want to star organizing my life
November 1, 2006 at 12:46 pm
Congrats on going live! Here’s hoping to a smooth launch and the sending of many more invites (including mine!) Cheers and well wishes.
November 1, 2006 at 1:09 pm
Awesome! Can’t wait to try it!
November 1, 2006 at 1:12 pm
While many feel that this may be the best Personal Information Manager, I feel that its scope presents many more opportunities than just organization. For instance, one could have the ability to create an appointment, add a map presenting the location of that appointment, integrate with a skype account for instance to quickly call other members of that meeting/appointment, integrate with a proven voice system (like that of IBM’s) so that appointments are made/changed through voice rather than text, etc. etc.
The possibilities are limitless; it remains to be seen how cool Scrybe can be without overwhelming the market with many features.
I’m excited!
November 1, 2006 at 1:17 pm
It’s started
I’m waiting for the invite too
November 1, 2006 at 1:44 pm
For all those like me that have been trying all the online calendar apps and been dissapointed, this is the one that we’ve been waiting for. I feel like I am actually getting myself organized rather than just retyping data into something useless and wasting more time. Good Job, and I look forward to your upcoming improvements!
November 1, 2006 at 1:48 pm
damn! hope I’ll be in soon as well, the notepad features seems quite well thought as well.
November 1, 2006 at 1:48 pm
Pretty exciting stuff! I can wait to get that email and to be able to kick the tires.
November 1, 2006 at 1:51 pm
Great looking product. I can’t wait to get a closer look.
November 1, 2006 at 2:05 pm
Would be glad to test it out for you. Dexly.com is a Social Media Directory, we can showcase this product on our site as well. Let me know.

I’m jealous, I still didn’t get my invite!
Thanks for creating great application. Can’t wait to try it.
November 1, 2006 at 4:52 pm
Looks great - I sent my email address in for an invite.
However…big question - will this app be able to “synchronize” with Microsoft apps? I run Outlook on my home laptop and use Outlook on my corporate pc at work…as I’m sure many others do.
I’m looking for the ability to synchronize Outlook calendars, contacts and lists so I don’t have to retype anything…and it gets sent to my Treo when I synchronize on my home laptop.
Will Scrybe have that feature? It looks very cool, but many of us are still locked into using different pc’s for a variety of reasons and want to avoid any type of double entry of data.

The Video demo is superb. I can’t wait to see the beat live up to all the expectations.
Great work!
November 1, 2006 at 11:11 pm
What I am most impressed about is that this appears to be a cross-platform/cross-browser solution and more importantly does not require a browser plug-in or toolbar.
IE is so weighed down with toolbars that can be installed we are reaching the point where there is no room for the actual browser window. In that respect any web applications avoid toolbars ad plug-ins should be applauded.
I suspect that this application may become such a fixture on our desktops that someone will be tempted to use Webkit to create a custom browser for iscrybe.
I wrote about this solution for Google Calendar some months ago here ( http://ekive.blogspot.com/2006/05/ask-and-you-shall-receive-tear-off_13.html ) thanks to Michael McCracken. May be we can tempt him to do the same for iScrybe.

From the video all I can say is, “Wow!” I defiantly am very excited to see how this project turns out. So far I have yet to find a single application that meets my needs and is easy to use, it looks like Scrybe just might be that application.
November 2, 2006 at 8:16 am
Wow, I have seen the video about 5 times now and am still amazed at the capabilities of Scrybe, especially the OfflineSync and the ability to collect the web clippings. Cannot wait until this comes out of beta.
November 2, 2006 at 11:30 am
The timing is perfect, just when Microsoft announce WGA checks on MS Office applications this comes along. Can you imagine the groundswell of MS Office ‘borrowers’ having to get into paying big money or using other like free Open Office and this little beauty. Bring it on, I am soooo tired of Outlook this could be the one. So how much?
November 2, 2006 at 11:46 am
looks cool…very well thought out, intuitive. can’t wait to start testing
November 2, 2006 at 12:41 pm

November 2, 2006 at 6:22 pm
I think the best integrated software i had been through. I am even presenting a presentation on it to tell people more about Business Intelligence Systems.
Would really want to put my hands on it.
November 2, 2006 at 11:54 pm
Does anybody has this invite? thats strange because i don’t. Even though i subscribed more than a month ago. Lauching in october2005 turned out as launchin on october/november for some people only… if any
November 3, 2006 at 2:12 am
nutshell: it was “Beta launching October 2006′ not full launch. :p
On the invites I’m assuming the order people are being invited is fairly random. From what I’ve gathered some people who have being invited only submitted their email a few days before the beta opened while others have had their emails on the list for months.
Be patient, I’m sure they will have loads more invites going out for the second round of the beta (and going out throughout each stage)

Looks very impressive. Will it sync with a PDA? Can’t wait for invite to arrive.

Yay! just got an invite (almost forgot, I’d submitted somewhere in Sep)….looking pretty decent so far but i really need to use the web clipping bit….
November 5, 2006 at 3:21 am
I got my invite! I read the Beta Testing Guidelines and did everything the guide asked me to do. All I can say is, NICE! Very easy to use, I set up one time appointments and recurring appoints. It even can schedule a recurring appointment that is the second Thursday of each munch. The Open Source calendar in beta (sunbird/lightning) could not do that at beta launch. I am having fun setting up my calendar and lists. Offline worked great. So easy. The UI; very kewl. I wonder if this is using Adobe (Macromedia) Flex. Some of the UI pieces reminds me of a Flex demo I saw on the Adobe site.
I Love This Tool.
November 5, 2006 at 4:57 pm
The one thing that would really make this the non-plus-ultra online organizer would be PDA syncing options.
November 5, 2006 at 7:38 pm
Awesome! Just started using the program and it’s simple and intuitive.
Thanks!
November 5, 2006 at 9:17 pm
Looking forward to my invite! Can’t wait to begin using Scrybe.
November 6, 2006 at 4:24 am
I test hundreds of web 2.0 sites drilling through them for semantic clues as to the ‘fall-over’ status. I also have many teams of educators worldwide who would only too happily pick Scrybe provided it quickly realised their needs to collaboratively network events and share calenders and functions with ease.
The biggest test comes whn you guys provide the RSS and export facility which can seamlessly work with other online calendars.
I do hope you’ll keep us all in the loop with more blog posts to to keep out fears at bay
November 6, 2006 at 5:30 am
Wonderful online application. Can’t wait for my invite. I’ve been waiting anxiously and just been checking my inbox every few hours, hehe. Good luck with the launch.
November 6, 2006 at 11:30 am
Okay, this is pretty slick. I’ll be standing by for implementation of syncing capabilities. Hope they’re done as well as the main application.
